Security for forms, access, and submissions
SmartFormify is built for forms that collect business details. Security decisions cover how forms are shared, how protected states are indexed, how spam is reduced, how submissions are handled, and which legal pages explain your rights.
Form access settings
SmartFormify supports public, private, and limited forms. Limited forms can require an access code, while private and protected form states stay out of public indexing.
Protected form states
Access-token, preview, submitted, failed, private, limited, and offline form states use noindex handling. They are not hidden with robots.txt rules that could expose sensitive paths.
Spam and abuse protection
Guest submissions can use bot signals, rate windows, visitor tokens, idempotency keys, and proof-of-work fallback checks where needed. These checks help reduce automated spam without making normal forms difficult to submit.
Submission handling
Form submissions are stored with the answers, files, dates, form details, notes, status, and outcome information needed for follow-up review.
Cookies and optional tracking
Essential cookies keep accounts and protected form sessions working. Optional analytics scripts load only after consent, and form-level tracking should respect the same cookie preference event.
