Connect SmartFormify to Google Tag Manager
Track successful form submissions with the tags you manage in Google Tag Manager.
Add your GTM Container ID, create a Custom Event trigger, and publish the tags you want to run.
Step 1: Open your form and select Google Tag Manager
Open the form you want to use, open the Connect menu, and choose Google Tag Manager.
Step 2: Add your GTM Container ID
Paste the GTM Container ID and save. SmartFormify will use it when pushing submit events to the data layer.
Step 3: Create a Custom Event trigger in GTM
Use the cleaned form-name submit event as your trigger name. Example: a form named "Lead Capture" pushes "lead_capture_submit" to the data layer.
Attach your GA4, Google Ads, or other tags to that trigger, publish the container, then send a test response.
